This is your 8x10 photo engraved into a 8.5"x10.5" birch plywood puzzle. The plywood is 1/4" thick, and I apply a light protective finish when the engraving, cutting and sanding are done.

Close up portraits turn out great! Almost any photo will work, but best results come from pictures with little or no background. Trees and bushes behind a portrait tend to be a little distracting when engraved. I can manipulate photos to a certain extent, so I'm willing to try anything.

If you want, send me the image you are considering and I can tell you if I think it will look good when it is engraved.

My little nephew in the pictures can put these together faster than I can! I was surprised how long it took me... I need to brush up on my kindergarten skills....
